Thank you for your continued prayers for the ministry. I really appreciate it.
Lorette Dye is a pastor, psychological counsellor,
writer, lecturer and missionary. She has published several books and had a
monthly column in Finesse magazine for the last six years. She has done
missionary work in China (smuggling bibles in the 90’s and made contact with the
underground church). She has also done missionary work in Rwanda, Burundi,
Uganda and the war-ridden DRC. She has a Masters degree in psychology and she
runs her own business to support herself by God’s grace but her heart and time
is committed to do God’s will and spread the word of His grace to as many people
as possible.

OUTREACH TO RWANDA – YOU ARE INVITED!

RAISING FUNDS
As you all know we need funds no matter what we do. To raise sufficient funds to
spread the good news of Christ remains a challenge. This year we have two big
projects to raise funds to support the mission.
CLIMBING KILIMANJARO – YOU ARE INVITED!
I am going to climb Kili November 2010. To be able to do this I need a sponsor.
You are invited to join me, but please understand that the goal is to get as
many sponsor’s as possible to raise funds. This is a climb with a goal. When we
reach the summit and our lungs hang over our arms, it must be more that a
personal accomplishment. The cost is R18 000 (South African rand) per person
from Johannesburg. (Any travel cost to get to Johannesburg would be extra).

Sponsor a bible school/missionary school student for a mere R250-00 per month
and make a difference. You can change one person’s life, their ministry and
ultimately their country.

WHAT THE FUNDS WILL BE USED FOR
I know money is hard to come by and that you want to be sure that the funds are
spend for a worthy cause as well as managed efficiently.
Firstly I can assure you that none of the funds will be used as a personal
salary. All the funds will be used for the projects that we launched and are
launching. You can also choose which projects you want to support.
Secondly Emmanual ministries oversee and audit all funds and distribution
thereof. The information is furthermore available to all sponsors.

BACK TO JERUSALEM
The Chinese church has a God-given vision, namely to evangelize everybody from
China to Jerusalem. That includes some of the most un-reached countries and
groups, namely Muslims, Hindus and Buddhists. God has also made this vision
alive in my own life and I believe our task is to reach everybody between South
Africa and Jerusalem. This implies of course all the mainly Muslim countries in
the north of Africa. Not an easy task, but with God nothing is impossible. This,
I believe, represents the “last frontier” and that this vision comes from the
heart of God and that He already has a perfect plan, we must just decide if we
are going to be part of that plan or not.

STARTING AT HOME
In Witbank (Emalahleni), South Africa, where God has placed me the ministry will
be two-fold.
- Minister and reach the local people and people from the nearby-surroundings through a tent-ministry as well as a clinic-on-wheels. (I already have secured the help of people that have a similar ministry in Pretoria.) Besides taking Christ to the people the goal would also be to recruit Children-of-God to go into the mission field.
- A training centre for people that believe they are called to reach the
un-reached nations (Specifically the Northern African Muslim nations). We have
everything in place to start this project, namely the facility, the lecturers,
support-staff, and people that were converted from Islam to Christianity to
prepare the trainees.
EXISTING PROJECTS
BIBLE SCHOOL IN RWANDA
Working in collaboration with Africa Missions I was involved in starting a bible
school in Rwanda three years ago. Today we have approximately 60 students from
five different countries, that includes 1st, 2nd and 3rd year students.
Some of our students in training with Susan, the
wife of the principle, pastor Robert.
MINISTERING IN DIFFERENT COUNTRIES
Bringing the word of God in different countries to different people and seeing
miracles happen. For example the local church in Ntungamo, a rural area in the
southern part of Uganda grew with hundred members after open-air services.

BURUNDI
God also spoken to me about Burundi and we are busy with a clinic and an
orphanage. Most of all we want to support the local church and build good
relationships as Burundi is a Christian nation with a Christian president.
Burundi could become our head office away from home.
Here I am having a meeting on future plans and
how to proceed with pastor Robert, the principle from the Bible school in Rwanda
and pastor Evariste from Burundi.
FUTURE PLANS
I am going to visit Sudan, just North of Uganda, a Muslim country, with Pastor
Robert, the principle from the bible school in Rwanda, the purpose is dual.
- To build contacts and learn more about the country.
- To recruit people from Sudan for the bible school and to train and send them back to represent Christ.
I believe that everything that I experienced up to now was God’s way to prepare
me for this ministry.
